Feb 1 - The Courson group raised 15 sailfish and released 9 conventional aboard Macara.

The Poole group raised 4 sailfish and released 3 conventional aboard Maverick.

Feb 2 - The Courson group raised 7 sailfish and released 5 conventional aboard Macara. They also released 4 dorado.

The Poole group raised 13 sailfish and released 3 conventional aboard Maverick. They also raised 1 Blue marlin that they could not get to take the baits.

Feb 3 - The Frank Feltham group returned to Sailfish Bay for their 3rd trip in 18 mos. Joining Frank were Ethel Feltham, Skipper Jellison, Victor Rawl, Ed Hay, Doug Darren, Helen Yochum, Helen Yochum, Mark Feltham, Jennifer Bessman, Bill Moore, Paul Moore, Pattie Rutland, and Bill Crymes.

Fishing on Mariner the group raised 18 sailfish and released 9 conventional.

Fishing on Maverick the group raised 16 sailfish and released 2 on fly rods.

Fishing on Macara the group raised 30 sailfish and released 17 conventional. They also caught 3 dorado.

The Joe Draper group returned for their second trip to SBL. Joining Joe were John Bencie, Russel Novak, Tom and Chris Parsons.

Fishing on Sirena the group raised 25 sailfish and released 8.

Also fishing on Bora Bora the group raised 18 sailfish and released 12 conventional.

Feb 4 - The Draper Group raised 26 sailfish on Sirena and released 13 conventional.

The Draper Group also fishing on Bora Bora raised 25 sailfish and released 13 sailfish conventional.

The Feltham Group raised 26 sailfish on Mariner and released 5.

The Feltham Group raised 23 sailfish on Maverick and released 3 on fly.

The Feltham group raised 22 sailfish on Cayuco and released 5.

Feb 5 - The Draper Group raised 51 sailfish on Sirena and released 27 conventional.

The Draper Group raised 44 sailfish on Bora Bora and released 23 conventional. They also caught 5 dorado.

The Feltham Group raised 27 sailfish on Maverick and released 4 conventional and 4 on fly.

The Feltham Group raised 57 sailfish on Mariner and released 24 conventional. They also caught 5 dorado.

The Feltham Group raised 35 sailfish on Cayuco and released 16 conventional. They also caught 4 dorado.

Feb 6 - Just a monster day. Lights out! The Draper group raised 100 sailfish on Sirena and released 55 conventional.

The Draper Group raised 55 sailfish on Bora Bora and released 33 conventional.

Feb 7 - The Jay Neal group returned for their 3rd trip to Sailfish Bay. The party included Jay, Bill and Chad Neal, Chris Carraway, William Derrick, Gerry Kelly, Ryan Mellichamp, and Tim Cullum.

Fishing on Maverick the group raised 50 sailfish and released 26 conventional and 1 on fly.

Fishing on Sirena the group raised 74 sailfish and released 40 conventional. They also caught 1 dorado.

Also, arriving for some Guatemala sailfishing were fly fishers Ned Ruffin and Sean Tierney. Fishing on Macara they raised 24 sailfish and released 3 on fly.

Feb 8 - The Neal group raised 38 sailfish and released 31 conventional on Sirena.

The Neal group raised 18 sailfish and released 9 conventional on Maverick.

Sean & Ned raised 22 sailfish and released 4 on fly aboard Mariner.

Jim Gallo returned for his second trip to Sailfish Bay. He was joined by his son Jim and Shawn Huggins. Fishing aboard Bora Bora the group raised 29 sailfish and released 16 conventional.

Also, arriving to Sailfish Bay were Neils Agather and Dennis Stone. Fishing on Che Cito they raised 16 sailfish and released 0 on fly.

Feb 9 - The Neal Group raised 29 sailfish and released 12 conventional on Sirena.

The Neal Group raised raised 15 sailfish on Maverick and released 3 conventional.

Ned & Sean raised 10 sailfish on Mariner releasing 1 on fly.

The Gallo Group raised 15 sailfish on Bora Bora and released 9 conventional.

The Agather Group raised 15 sailfish on Che Cito and released 7 conventional.

Feb 10 - The Agather Group raised 19 sailfish on Che Cito releasing 3 on fly.

The Wellman Group arrived to SBL. The party included David Wellman, Mark English, David Shattuck and Barry Colclough. The group raised 13 sailfish and released 7 conventional.

Also arriving at Sailfish Bay were Dan and Anne Alsaker with Tom and Pam Hemmingway. Fishing on Maverick they raised 1 sailfish and released 1 conventional.

Feb 11 - The Alsaker Group raised 4 sailfish and released 2 conventional on Maverick.

The Wellman Group raised 12 sailfish and released 4 conventional on Mariner. They also released 4 yellowfin tuna.

Feb 12 - The Wellman Group raised 28 sailfish on Mariner and released 18 conventional.

Arriving to Sailfish Bay was repeat client Tom Tomfohrde. Also, joining him were Clint Lauer
Clark Hopson, and Susan Carr. Fishing aboard Maverick the group raised 30 sailfish and released 11 conventional.

Feb 13 - The Tomfohrde Group raised 22 sailfish on Maverick and released 14 conventional.

Feb 14 - The Tomfohrde Group raised 26 sailfish and released 12 conventional on Sirena. They also caught 1 dorado.

Arriving to Guatemala on their 3rd trip, but first to Sailfish were Don Braddock, Angelo Cavallaro, Wesley Purcell, David Parkinson, Lamar Braxton, Ron Braxton, Pete Kirill, Billy Hamilton, Judge Doc Burgess, David McCrannie, David Childers, and John Bobeck.

Fishing on Maverick the group raised 33 sailfish and released 20 conventional. They also raised one Blue marlin.

Fishing on Mariner they raised 32 sailfish and released 21 conventional. The also caught on dorado.

Fishing on Mad Bavarian they raised 15 sailfish and released 7 conventional. They also caught 2 dorado.

Feb 15 - The Tomfohrde group raised 32 sailfish on Sirena and released 14 conventional. They also caught 1 dorado.

The Braddock group fishing on Mad Bavarian raised 14 sailfish and released 8 conventional.

Fishing on Maverick they raised 47 sailfish and released 21 conventional.

Fishing on Mariner they raised 40 sailfish and released 20 conventional. They also caught three 30 lb dorado.

Feb 16 - The Braddock Group raised 41 sailfish on Maverick and released 13 conventional.

Fishing on Mad Bavarian they raised 25 sailfish and released 14 conventional.

Fishing on Mariner the group raised 43 sailfish and released 20 conventional. They also caught a big 50 lb dorado.

Arriving at Sailfish Bay were Norm and Catherine Tremblay, David, Jennifer, and Lauren Weeks. Focusing on fly fishing Norm and David raised 35 sailfish on Sirena and released 1 on fly. The ladies did not fish and spent the day enjoying the lodge.

Feb 17 - Focusing again today on fly, Norm and David raised 11 sailfish on Sirena and released 1.

It did not take very long for Bill & Ryan Doty to return to SBL. Having fished with us in August they raised 19 sailfish on Mariner and released 14 conventional.

Also arriving at Sailfish Bay were Barry Hoffman, Jim Berneski, and Hank Brandenberger. They slammed a bunch of beers and a bunch of sailfish. Fishing on Maverick they raised 38 sailfish and released 23 conventional.

Feb 18 - The Hoffman Group raised 75 sailfish on Maverick and released 32 conventional.

The Tremblay Group raised 61 sailfish on Sirena, released 5 conventional and 2 on fly.

The Doty Group raised 90 sailfish on Mariner and released 40 conventional. They also caught one 20 lb dorado.

Feb 19 - The Hoffman Group raised 21 sailfish and released 8 conventional on Maverick.

Feb 21 - Wes Smith, Scott Smith, and Chad Young arrived for their 3rd trip to SBL. They were also joined by Scott Masterson. Fishing on Sirena they raised 68 sailfish and released 27 conventional.

Dennis Davis, James Aldridge, James Barton, Jon Langford, Roger Little, and Myron Sims arrived for the Guatemala fishing action. Fishing on Maverick the group raised 90 sailfish and released 37 conventional. They also caught 1 dorado.

The Davis Group also fished on Mad Bavarian, raised 46 sailfish and released 31 conventional.

Wally Jarboe, RB Ruston, Jr., and Charlie Kairalla arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing aboard Mariner the group raised 71 sailfish and released 33 conventional.

Feb 22 - The Smith group raised 55 sailfish on Sirena, releasing 10 conventional and 1 on fly.

The Jarboe group raised 72 sailfish and released 36 conventional.

The Davis group raised 71 sailfish on Maverick and released 25 conventional.

The Davis group raised 35 sailfish on Mad Bavarian and released 16 conventional

Feb 23 - The Jarboe group raised 31 sailfish and released 15 conventional on Mad Bavarian.

The Smith group raised 56 sailfish on Sirena and released 23 conventional.

The Davis group raised 38 sailfish on Maverick and released 17 conventional.

Feb 24 - Rudolf Dueck from Germany fished one day on Maverick raising 64 sailfish and releasing 30 conventional.

Feb 25 - Joe Turano and Jim Easterling returned to SBL for their second year in a row. They were also joined by Rick McCord, Charlie Parker, Edward Cappel, and Joe Doggett.

Their focus is sailfish on fly rods. Fishing aboard Sirena they raised 37 sailfish and released 6 on fly.

Fishing on Macara they raised 32 sailfish and released 4 on fly.

Fishing on Maverick they raised 37 sailfish and released 4 on fly.

Also, arriving at Sailfish Bay were fly fishers Jeff, Jay, and Bob Cobb. Fishing on Mad Bavarian they raised 33 sailfish and released 5 on fly.

Feb 26 - The Turano group raised 20 sailfish on Maverick and released 5 on fly.

The Turano group raised 36 sailfish on Macara and released 3 on fly.

The Turano group raised 24 sailfish on Sirena and released 4 on fly.

The Cobb group raised 12 sailfish on Mad Bavarian and released 2 on fly.

Feb 27 - The Turano group raised 36 sailfish on Sirena and released 3 on fly.

The Turano group raised 30 sailfish on Maverick and released 6 on fly.

The Turano group raised 36 sailfish on Macara and released 3 on fly.

The Cobb group raised 29 sailfish on Mad Bavarian and released 2 on fly.

Feb 28 - Marc Felton arrived at Sailfish Bay for the 4th time in the last few years. His focus is always fly fishing and he raised 23 sailfish and released 3 on fly.

Also returning to Sailfish Bay for the 2nd time were BB, Bailey, John & Caroline Sory. Fishing aboard Mariner they raised 20 sailfish and released 2 on fly.

Edward Sullivan, Edward Sullivan Jr., Emil Sullivan and Robert Pulliam arrived for the Guatemala sailfishing. Fishing on Mad Bavarian the group raised 18 sailfish and released 9 conventional.

Feb 29 - Marc raised 6 sailfish on Maverick and released 2 on fly.

The Sory group raised 32 sailfish and released 2 on fly.

The Sullivan group raised 26 sailfish and released 8 conventional.
