April 1 - The Roth group raised 48 sailfish on Sirena and released 12 on fly and 2 conventional!!

Bill Gibbs, Otto & Mary Sorensen arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing on Gypsy they raised 25 sailfish, releasing 4 on fly and 4 conventional. They also caught 2 dorado.

April 2 - The Gibbs group raised 22 sailfish on Gypsy and released 1 on fly.

April 3 - The Gibbs group raised 2 sailfish on Maverick and released 1 on fly.

April 4 - The Gibbs group raised 41 sailfish on Gypsy and released 3 on fly with 12 bites.

April 5 - David Wielicki returned for his 2nd trip to Sailfish Bay and joining him were Tony Wielicki, Donald and Andy Quattlebaum. Fishing on Maverick they raised 16 sailfish and released 5 conventional. They also caught 2 dorado.

Also arriving at SBL were Ned, Mary, and Nick Timmons. Fishing on Gypsy they raised 25 sailfish and released 12 conventional. They also raised 1 Blue marlin.

April 6 - The Wielicki group raised 28 sailfish on Maverick and released 4 on light tackle, hooking up all sails themselves.

The Timmons group raised 27 sailfish on Gypsy and released 10 conventional. They also caught 1 dorado.

April 7 - The Wielicki group raised 30 sailfish on Maverick and released 7 on light tackle.

The Timmons group raised 9 sailfish on Maverick and released 3 conventional.

April 8 - The Timmons group fished a shorter day because it was very windy. They raised 1 sailfish on Gypsy and released 1 conventional.

Frank, Stephanie, and Brett Hiskes arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing on Sirena they raised 15 sailfish and released 5 conventional.

April 13 - Mike and Benjamin Fletcher arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing on Gypsy they raised 10 sailfish and released 4 conventional.

April 14 - The Fletcher group raised 26 sailfish on Gypsy, releasing 6 conventional and 2 on fly. They also raised and hooked 1 marlin that was later lost.

April 15 - The Fletcher group raised 16 sailfish on Gypsy and released 2 on fly.

David, Patricia, Dominic, and David Aversa Jr., along with Sue Ellen Carroll fished on Sirena raising 16 sailfish and releasing 7 conventional.

April 24 - Dr. Ken and Patricia Krueger arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing on Gypsy they raised 23 sailfish and released 2 on fly with 3 bites.

April 25 - The Krueger group raised 12 sailfish and released 2 conventional and 1 on fly.

Don Horne, Don Horne, Jr., Elliot Horne, and Michael Guarino raised 5 sailfish on Sirena and released 2 conventional.

April 26 - The Krueger group raised 1 marlin and 1 sailfish on Maverick with 0 releases.

The Horne group raised 8 sailfish on Sirena and released 2 conventional.

Ludwig Gericke, Amy Strom, and Thomas Starks arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing on Gypsy they raised 4 sailfish and released 1 on fly.

April 27 - The Gericke group raised 6 sailfish on Gypsy and released 1 on fly.

The Horne group raised 6 sailfish on Sirena and released 3 conventional.

April 28 - The Gericke group raised 1 sailfish on Gypsy and released 0.

April 30 - Julius Schwerin, Reed Fenton, Greg Fenton, Eric Rachmel, Tyler Van Rhoden, and Mike Hoff fished on Sirena released 3 sailfish and 1 Black marlin!

May 1 - Paul Griffiths arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing on Gypsy he raised 2 Blue marlin, 1 sailfish and released 1 Blue 300 lbs. In addition, he caught 36 dorado.

May 2 - Paul raised 2 more marlin, 3 sailfish and released 1 sailfish conventional.

May 27 - Being HUGE football fans it was great welcoming Jeff Fisher, Head Coach of The NFL's Tennessee Titans to Sailfish Bay with sons Brandon & Trent. Jeff, Brandon and Trent love to fly fish, however this trip ended up a little different then they expected! Fishing on Gypsy they raised 7 sailfish and released 3 conventional. They also caught 3 dorado.

We also welcomed Gary, Meredith, Ken, and Brittany West to Guatemala. Fishing on Sirena they raised 5 sailfish and released 2 conventional.

May 28 - The seas turned a little rough and after raising only one marlin about 10 AM, with the sailfish having scattered, Capt Pia told the Fisher group they had about 15 minutes left in the day. Immediately after making that statement a monster Blue marlin came up in the teasers. After a 1 hour and 30 minute battle Brandon Fisher released an estimated 650 Blue marlin breaking our record at Sailfish Bay. They got a great video footage of the battle with several superb jumps and we will post it on the website soon. What a day.

May 29 - The West group had a great day raising 15 roosterfish, 1 Blue marlin and they released 10 roosters. They also caught 10 dorado. This was another record breaker for Sailfish Bay clients. A great day is nailing 5 to 6 roosters and The West group got 10!

The Fisher group floated another 2 marlin, 1 sailfish and Trent Fisher landed a 250 lb Blue marlin. Both sons landed a marlin on their trip! It looks like we will see them next March so they can get the sailfish on fly rods.

May 30 - Richard Neff and Richard Neff II arrived at Sailfish Bay. Fishing on Maverick they raised 3 sailfish and released 3 sailfish conventional. They also raised 1 Blue marlin and caught 1 dorado.

May 31 - The Neff group raised 5 sailfish and released 1 conventional. They also caught 15 dorado.

June 1 - The Neff group raised 18 sailfish and released 8 conventional. They also caught another 10 dorado.

June 2 - The Neff group raised 7 sailfish and released 2 conventional.
