Fishing Reports - Miscellaneous
Here are some scattered fishing reports we had not posted from a few trips in the Summer and early Fall.
June 13 - James Cotton, Kevan Sincock, and Keith Coghill arrived for 3 days fishing at SBL. Fishing on Gypsy they raised 3 sailfish and released 2 conventional. They also caught 2 dorado.
June 14 - The Cotton group raised 2 sailfish and 1 marlin on Gypsy, but came up short with 0 releases.
June 15 - The Cotton group raised 6 sailfish on Gypsy and released 3 conventional. They also raised and hooked 2 marlin.
June 19 - Robert & Terry Ray arrived for 3 days of fishing and 2 days of surfing along the Ocean in front of the Lodge. They raised 2 sailfish on Gypsy and released 1 conventional. They also caught 3 dorado.
June 20 - The Ray group raised 5 sailfish on Gypsy and released 4 conventional. They also raised 2 marlin and released 1 Blue about 350 lbs. A few more dorado were caught as well.
June 22 - The Ray group raised and released 1 sailfish on Gypsy conventional. They also caught 8 dorado.
July 23 - Byrd Miller, Byrd Miller IV, Kate and Liza Miller arrived at Sailfish Bay for a relaxing family vacation. Fishing light tackle on Gypsy they raised 21 sailfish, hooked 19 and released 10 conventional.
July 25 - The Miller group raised 20 sailfish on Gypsy, hooking 15 on light tackle and released 10. They also raised 1 Blue Marlin.
Sept 18 - Our friend Marcos arrived for 1 day of fishing. He raised 3 sailfish and released 2 conventional. He also caught 5 dorado.
Oct 16 - Dave McCann arrived for his 3rd trip to Sailfish Bay. Joining Dave were Mike McVay, Dennis Murphy, Jim Hoy, Mick Read, Peter Cole, and Massimo Cagnoli. Fishing on Gypsy they raised and released 1 Blue marlin about 350 lbs.
Fishing on Maverick they raised and released 1 sailfish and caught 10 dorado.
Oct 17 - The McCann group raised 2 sailfish on Gypsy and released 1 conventional in a half day of fishing.
The McCann group caught 5 dorado and 10 bonito in a half day of fishing on Maverick.
Oct 31 - The Zamora group joined us for a half day of fishing on Gypsy. They fished inshore and raised 5 roosterfish and released 2 with 3 strikes. They also caught 7 King Mackerel.
